NOTES:
Michael and Jane, with 3 sons and 3 daughters, one horse and 2 cows sailed from Boston 19 June 1760 on the transport Charming Molly and arrived at Annapolis 25 June. They were among the first wave of “planters” who applied from New England to emigrate and receive land previously occupied by the expelled Acadiens. He was 37 and she was 33. The family farmed and acquired many parcels of land. He died at age 51 and she died at age 63. All children were left with parcels of land, and most of them went on to develop their own large families and substantial lands.
